I’ve been playing with this racquet (actually I have 2) for about a year now. It took a little while to get
used to the different feel and sound off the strings, but once I did, it was incredible. It seems to have the
same flexibility and feel of traditional graphite racquets with the power of the newer ones. I’m serving
better (both speed and control), and my groundstrokes are better than ever before. And all this with no
pain or weariness in my arm. This is a great all-around racquet.

On a lark I tried a Power 98K demo from Tennis Warehouse. What a surprise! In my first match, with my
slice and kick serves, the Power 98K added so much spin that my regular opponent missed several second
serves outright! Topspin and drop shots were loaded with spin, too. What I liked best was the dynamic range:
touch shots stayed feathery and hard hit ground strokes had plenty of pop. The head light balance and overall
weight made the Power 98K maneuverable at net and volleys felt easy and were accurate. I’ve never hit
with a better racquet for serve returns. I have a medium to long stroke, a strong serve and play 4.0-4.5.
I played four years of NCAA on a tennis scholarship (many years ago) and still compete in local tournaments.
The Power 98K is, for me, the best overall racquet available today. I bought two.

strings do last longer. I break strings frequently and haven’t done so with the PowerAngle. It is good
for blocking the ball back and hitting out. I lose some spin on my serve, but get more control on placement.

First of all, my strokes are deeper than I have previously hit. I seem to be getting a bit more spin on my
serves. It has a quieter sound when you stroke the ball than some of my other racquets in the past. Since it
is yellow and black I call it my silent, stinging bumblebee. It is definitely a keeper.
